Designed for motivated middle and high school students interested in biotechnology, medicine, and biomedical research, this program provides step-by-step training from scientific foundations to hands-on laboratory experience and project-based research.
Students may begin with virtual scientific foundation training, advance to hands-on laboratory boot camp training, and participate in guided research projects leading to abstract, poster, or oral presentation preparation.
Designed to complement the ASPIRATION Program, this program offers students real laboratory exposure and symposium preparation opportunities.

Flexible morning and afternoon scheduling available.
May 31 – June 28 | Sundays 2–4 PM
Research basics, experimental design, scientific thinking, laboratory safety, abstract writing, and poster preparation.
Students build essential knowledge before entering the laboratory or may participate as a standalone course.
June 8 – June 19 | Choose One Week |
Morning (9 AM–12 PM) or Afternoon (1–4 PM)
Hands-on laboratory training in:
Pipetting
Gel electrophoresis
Basic cell culture
Laboratory workflow
Includes the complete Level 1 Virtual Foundation Training.
June 8 – July 2 (In Person) + Virtual Sundays
Five-week guided group research experience including:
Laboratory experiments
Project design and mentorship
Data analysis
Abstract writing
Poster and presentation preparation
Students will work collaboratively on a research project and prepare a symposium-ready abstract and poster/oral presentation.
Students are eligible to submit an abstract for the scientific symposium on August 8 and obtain $50 discount registration code.
Students may begin with the Boot Camp and later upgrade to the Research Program if space is available.
Students who:
Are interested in science, medicine, or research
Want real laboratory experience
Have little or some prior lab exposure
Enjoy hands-on and project-based learning
No prior laboratory experience required.
Hands-on laboratory skills
Biomedical research exposure
Scientific thinking and experimental design experience
Confidence working in a laboratory setting
