The Junior Scientists Program introduces students—from elementary school through high school—to the world of biomedical science
Designed to grow with students at different developmental stages, the program offers age-appropriate activities that spark curiosity, build confidence, and help students begin to see themselves as scientists, researchers, and problem-solvers.
Through interactive activities, demonstrations, guided investigations, students gain meaningful exposure to how scientific questions are asked, how experiments are designed, how science and medicine are connected, and how research contributes to better health and care.
The Junior Scientists Program emphasizes:
Curiosity-driven exploration and questioning
Hands-on discovery using models, tools, and simple experiments
Exposure to real-world biomedical research and technology
Mentorship and role models in science and research
Encouragement for students from all backgrounds to build confidence and a sense of belonging in science
Program offerings are tailored to different age groups to ensure experiences are developmentally appropriate, engaging, and exploratory.
Detailed program descriptions, agendas, and activities will be provided as we build various programs.
