YSA Hershey Heartwarming Young Heroes Grants Application

Open Now Through March 15 

In partnership with The Hershey Company, YSA will award Hershey Heartwarming Young Heroes Grants for Youth Service Month & Global Youth Service Day 2026 projects and events. Youth changemakers—aged 5 to 25—in the U.S. and Canada are eligible to apply for these grants to lead and engage their peers in awareness, service, and philanthropy projects or youth voice, leadership, and advocacy events in their communities.

  A platform for students, educators, and community partners to connect, share programs, and engage in youth-led service and leadership initiatives at the local and state level.

  Guidance and support for student participation in leadership projects, service recognition, and youth awards that highlight impact, initiative, and community engagement.

• Environmental Leadership Projects
  Student-led projects focused on environmental challenges, sustainability, and science-based solutions, including project design, teamwork, and public communication.

• STEM Education Leadership
  Training and opportunities for students to lead in STEM learning, curriculum development, peer education, and outreach.

• Project Consultation & Training (upcoming)
  Consultation, planning support, and training for students, schools, and organizations developing science-, health-, or service-based leadership programs.

BioMedEdu’s leadership training emphasizes initiative, responsibility, collaboration, and service, preparing participants to become thoughtful leaders in science, medicine, and society.
